Success: More than 200 new homes handed over in Valhalla Park

More than 200 new homes have been handed over in Valhalla Park – a testament to the City moving mountains to ensure housing delivery. 

The City's Mayoral Committee Member for Human Settlements, Councillor Carl Pophaim, and officials in the City's Human Settlements Directorate handed over 244 new homes to Valhalla Park beneficiaries.

'I am overjoyed to have handed over more than 200 new homes to our Valhalla Park beneficiaries – this is delivery in action. We are not afraid to stand up to the challenge and deliver opportunities to our beneficiaries in all areas of the metro that we serve and we will continue to move mountains to ensure that we meet our redress, empowerment and service delivery agenda. We have proven with this project where there is a will, there is a way and we will continue to Build Cape Town Together,' said Councillor Pophaim.
